Ridgefield is an engineering firm for systems that have to perform under real-world conditions. It works across five areas: hardware, software, simulation, AI and operations.

The hardware practice covers RF front-ends, antenna arrays, LTCC multilayer packaging and radar. Software spans embedded firmware, signal processing and full-stack platforms, and the simulation work covers device, site and propagation modeling.

Engagements start with a system assessment that looks for where systems or operations underperform, followed by design, build and ongoing technical advisory. Ridgefield describes itself as working at the seam between defense and commercial engineering, based in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Its Demos page runs two of its systems in the browser: Vantage Echo, a reflective metasurface you can steer, and Covey, a replay of a distributed radar swarm imaging a city block in simulation.
