1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of buttsstudios.com, run by Butts Studios (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use this site. You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian's permission and involvement, to make a purchase.
3. What the site offers
This site presents the studio's design and development work and lets prospective clients contact us. Nothing is sold through this site; any project is covered by a separate written agreement.
4. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site: no attempts to break, overload, scrape at scale or reverse-engineer it; no bypassing purchase checks or limits; no unlawful, infringing, hateful or harassing content; and no impersonation. We may suspend access or remove content that breaks these rules.
5. Intellectual property
The site, its stories, artwork, games, code, video and branding are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use what you bought for your own non-commercial enjoyment. Everything else is reserved.
6. Third-party services and links
The site uses or links to services we do not control (such as Stripe Checkout and the other sites linked from our pages). Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.
7. Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise the site will be uninterrupted or without errors.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you; nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site, to the extent the law allows.
10. Governing law and disputes
The governing law and venue for these terms will be stated here once confirmed. Nothing in these terms limits the protections that the law where you live gives you as a consumer. Please contact us first; most issues can be resolved quickly by email.
11. Changes and termination
We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept it. We may suspend or end the site or any feature; if we end a paid feature you bought, the Refund Policy explains what happens.
